Since 1993, Pennies for the Homeless has devoted its energy to passionately advocate for the hungry and underprivileged members of our global family. The goal of Pennies for the Homeless since inception in 1993 has been to improve the quality of live for the homeless around us through community outreach and funding to programs that provide food, healthcare and the hope for a better future.
Meet The Founders

Joseph Saavedra & Diane dal Santo
Pennies for the Homeless is the brainchild of late businessman Joseph Saavedra and the late District Court Judge Diane dal Santo who together in 1993 started a community “Penny Drive” collaborating with APS students to collect loose change to help the homeless.
